Recently, I have been doing library booktalks based on themes. I've done two so far this year: Gangs, Outlaws, and Bad Hombres and another one on hurricanes and bad weather (still need to post that--keep forgetting to get it off my school computer!).
The next installment is "Cookies! Candy! Pie!" I linked two videos to use with these, but I only plan to use one at a time. I get bored watching the same video six times in one day, so I am going to let the classes chose which video they want to watch. Then, I will go through each slide and talk about the books.
