 | Graphic Novel Challenge 2016, book #5 is Squish: Super Amoeba by brother-sister graphic novel team Jennifer and Matthew Holm. I didn't choose this book because it is ridiculously popular in our school (it is). I didn't choose this book because illustrator Matt Holm rocked a recent visit to our school here in China (he totally did). I chose this book because my 8-year old dyslexic son and my 11-year old picky reader both devoured all seven books in the Squish series. They and so many others love the simple lines and funny text of Squish and its companion series, Babymouse. I had high expectations, and thankfully, Squish did not disappoint!
